Bio
Danny Sam is head of the Picuris Pueblo Bison Program. The program works for the health and tradition of the Pueblo. Sam is also a member of the Intertribal Bison Cooperative , which is committed to reestablishing buffalo herds on Indian lands in a manner that promotes cultural enhancement, spiritual revitalization, ecological restoration, and economic development.
